Senior Analyst - GBS Procurement

Overview

Senior Analyst – GBS Procurement in Chennai, supporting procurement operations and coordination for timely ordering, deliveries, and supplier/payment processes.

What you'll do

• Issue POs to vendors on time and follow up for order confirmation.
• Coordinate with vendors for delivery status and on-time payment support.
• Complete Open Purchase Order and Shortage report tasks for review.
• Execute core procurement processes for assigned products.
• Coordinate with internal business partners and suppliers for purchase order changes.
• Maintain a supplier database and align new orders with purchasing strategies.
• Perform root cause analysis and prepare customized reports to improve procurement processes.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of experience in procurement/supply chain (mandatory).
• Knowledge of ERP, preferably BAAN.
• Experience in order processing, supply chain management, order management, and end-to-end procurement (preferred).
• Knowledge of MS Office applications including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills (mandatory).
• Analytical skills (stated as required).
• Bachelor’s degree or engineering graduate.
