Senior Architect

Overview

Design, operate, and modernize enterprise-scale hybrid data platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. The role focuses on reliability, automation, security, performance, and platform enablement.

What you'll do

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage large-scale data platforms.
• Deliver provisioning, infrastructure-as-code, upgrades, patching, and capacity expansion.
• Develop automation frameworks using Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Operate hybrid platform services across on-premises infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Implement security controls, platform hardening, and certificate-based security models.
• Analyze performance, tune platform services, and conduct capacity planning.
• Integrate platforms with enterprise services and provide technical guidance to internal customers.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in platform engineering or systems engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong Linux administration experience.
• Experience supporting distributed systems and multi-petabyte enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience managing clusters spanning thousands of servers.
• Scripting and automation experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience operating enterprise-scale production platforms.
• Experience with AI/ML platforms, MLOps, or hybrid cloud architectures.
• Knowledge of Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, or modern data platform concepts.
• Experience supporting regulated environments such as HIPAA, GDPR, or GxP.
