Senior Associate Network & Security Engineer

Overview

Senior Associate Network & Security Engineer responsible for supporting, designing, and optimizing company network infrastructure with a focus on stability, security, and performance.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design, implement, and optimize LAN, WAN, and data center network solutions.
• Contribute technical input to network architecture discussions.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless access points.
• Implement advanced features and protocols to enhance network functionality.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues using troubleshooting tools and techniques.
• Implement and maintain network security measures including firewall rules, access controls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention.
• Use monitoring tools to monitor performance, analyze trends, and take corrective actions.

What you'll need

• Extended relevant networking experience (e.g., Associate Network Engineer or similar).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, architectures, and services.
• Proficiency configuring and managing network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).
• In-depth knowledge of protocols/technologies including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, and security protocols.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.
• Ability to create and maintain network documentation and communicate technical concepts.
• Some experience with network security and familiarity with network security principles.
