Overview
Senior Atlas Data Analyst on the Atlas-Sales team, reporting to the Director, Commercial Analytics & Insights. Underpins Atlas managed services commitments with a quantitative foundation by reconstructing renewable bases, building baseline performance methodologies, and delivering QBR analytics.
What you'll do
- Issue and lead the Atlas Diagnostic Data Request call; normalize, deduplicate, and reconcile accounts, contracts, and opportunities across disconnected customer systems; assign a data confidence rating that gates commercial pricing
- Break renewal performance into resolution, close, and conversion drivers; decompose erosion into customer loss, product loss, and downsell net of upsell; benchmark the customer against itself over time and against peer comparators
- Build the parity performance rate scoped to geography, segment, and motion against which the do-nothing case and Atlas performance fee will be measured; document the methodology to survive first invoice; defend it against customer finance challenge
- Supply throughput, volume, and segment inputs that drive the capacity and cost-to-serve model for the Solution Design Architect; test AI autonomy assumptions against actual action volumes in the customer data
- Transfer data findings, lineage, joins, exclusions, and known defects to Forward-Deployed Engineering so implementation does not restart discovery
- Translate renewal reporting requirements into the customer's reporting console; maintain the standard forecasting roll-up across the delivery team
- Deliver QBR analytics on cadence, applying the agreed methodology consistently across reporting periods
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and/or 8 years of related experience
- 3–7 years in sales and renewal analytics, renewals operations, or quantitative consulting
- Advanced Excel: builds, audits, and defends multi-source reconciliations and cohort analyses without a template
- Proven experience producing defensible results from imperfect, incomplete third-party data
- Working knowledge of subscription and recurring revenue mechanics: ARR, GRR/NRR, contract term structures, auto-renewal, downsell, expansion
- Ability to explain a methodology to a skeptical finance counterpart and hold the position under challenge
Nice to have
- Direct experience in renewals, customer success, or subscription revenue operations
- SQL and direct experience querying commercial data warehouses
- Data preparation platforms (Alteryx, dbt, or equivalent) for repeatable, re-runnable analysis
- BI tooling to an executive readout standard: Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent
- Salesforce and Gainsight familiarity sufficient to interrogate source data and maintain opportunity hygiene
- Exposure to performance-based or gainshare commercial structures and the baselining they require
Details
- Full-time, hybrid, based in Hyderabad, India
- Limited travel, with occasional attendance at diagnostic kickoffs and executive readouts
