Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Overview

Senior Azure DevOps Engineer responsible for automating Azure infrastructure, networking, security, applications, and operational workflows using Infrastructure as Code and Azure DevOps.

What you'll do

• Design and manage Azure Bicep and Azure Verified Modules infrastructure solutions.
• Automate Azure networking across Virtual WAN, Virtual Hubs, VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, and private endpoints.
• Configure application routing, SSL offloading, and secure entry points with Application Gateway and WAF.
• Build and maintain multi-stage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications.
• Implement DevSecOps controls including RBAC, managed identities, secret management, and security scanning.
• Configure monitoring, alerting, and logging with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Develop automation scripts and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation experience.
• Deep experience with Azure Bicep and Azure Verified Modules.
• Strong Azure experience across networking, Application Gateway/WAF, Key Vault, compute, containers, and storage.
• Proficiency with multi-stage YAML Azure DevOps pipelines, service connections, environments, approvals, and deployment gates.
• Strong PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Bash scripting skills.
• Understanding of Azure RBAC, Entra ID, managed identities, Docker, and Azure Container Apps.
• Experience with Bicep linter, ARM what-if, PSRule, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Network Watcher.

Nice to have

• Python scripting experience.
• Relevant Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-700, or AZ-400.
