Senior Backend Engineer for AI Agents, building scalable real-time backend systems that power AI agent experiences.

What you'll do

• Design and build scalable backend systems for real-time enterprise AI agent operations.
• Develop agent orchestration frameworks for multi-step reasoning and tool usage.
• Build agent memory, context management, and state persistence across interactions.
• Architect low-latency inference pipelines integrating LLMs/SLMs and external tools.
• Implement evaluation (evals) frameworks to measure performance and reliability.
• Design event-driven, asynchronous workflows and optimize for throughput and latency.
• Build and maintain REST/gRPC APIs and service layers for agent capabilities.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, distributed systems, or platform engineering.
• Strong experience building high-scale, production-grade backend systems.
• Experience with real-time processing, streaming, or event-driven architectures.
• Strong API design experience with REST and gRPC plus microservices architectures.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and data modeling for high-scale systems.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Details

• Role is based in Noida (Delhi NCR) with a hybrid work model (2–3 days/week in office).
