Senior Backend Engineer (Integrations)

Overview

Design, build, and maintain customer integrations connecting Vyn's platform with enterprise CRM, customer service, field service, asset management, and facilities management tools.

What you'll do

• Contribute to integration technical architecture with internal teams and customer technical stakeholders.
• Design and implement customer-specific integrated solutions with Product and Software teams.
• Build reusable third-party connectors and packages as AWS web services or partner-ecosystem code.
• Monitor and maintain production integrations.
• Diagnose and resolve integration failures.
• Improve code reviews, testing standards, and team mentoring.

What you'll need

• Minimum 4+ years of experience, including 2+ years building production systems in Python.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience owning at least one third-party integration end to end.
• Strong automated unit and integration testing practice.
• Working experience with AWS, including compute, SQS, and managed databases.
• Experience designing reliable, available, and performant distributed systems.
• Ability to work with external technical stakeholders and turn ambiguous requirements into workable designs.

Nice to have

• Salesforce or other partner ecosystem development experience.
• Experience with multi-tenant connector frameworks.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Prior experience in a scaling B2B SaaS environment.
