Senior Backend Engineer, NIRA

Overview

Senior Backend Engineer responsible for scaling NIRA’s consumer credit platform and supporting its financial products and credit decision systems.

What you'll do

• Scale the platform with the NIRA and APAC engineering teams.
• Expand the platform for multiple financial products and underlying instruments.
• Drive iterations on credit policy.
• Improve credit decision systems.
• Collaborate with product, credit, finance, compliance, support, and analytics teams.
• Own technical solutions from start to finish.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience.
• Strong Java experience.
• Experience with AWS-native environments.
• Experience using DynamoDB, Athena, and Lambda.
• Experience delivering solutions that improve platform scalability.
• Clear communication and ability to collaborate globally.

Nice to have

• .NET experience.
