Overview

Senior Business Information Security Officer (India) serving as the accountable executive for information security risk management and cyber resilience across India-based operations and a global delivery hub.

What you'll do

• Serve as primary cybersecurity advisor for India operations and a major global delivery hub.
• Lead cybersecurity engagement for strategic business and technology initiatives and transformation programs.
• Act as liaison between Global Cyber Security and business leadership to drive actionable security outcomes.
• Lead cybersecurity support for India regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements (including CERT-IN Directions, DPDP Act, RBI, and SEBI).
• Lead cybersecurity assessments and partner with business and technology teams to remediate cyber risk in India.
• Manage India cyber risk posture, assessments, and material risk reporting into global governance forums.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for cybersecurity incidents impacting India-based systems, data, and clients.

What you'll need

• 15+ years in information security/cyber risk with senior leadership experience in regulated environments.
• Experience engaging regulators, boards, and senior business leadership at a leadership level.
• Hands-on experience with India cyber regulations, including CERT-In directives and sector-specific frameworks.
• Experience supporting regulatory exams, audits, and enforcement actions in India.
• Strong firsthand incident response and crisis management experience.
• Understanding of data protection principles and privacy engineering standards.
• Control knowledge in identity and access management, logging/monitoring, and cyber resiliency controls.
