Overview

Senior Business Systems Analyst - Product Owner for a Pune product engineering team within Wolters Kluwer Health (Medi-Span), serving as a primary Product Owner and liaison between Product Management and Engineering.

What you'll do

• Own and maintain the backlog for one Pune development team.
• Lead requirement refinement and support planning, prioritization, and delivery readiness.
• Translate business requirements into implementation-ready specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Clarify requirements, business rules, and expected outcomes across the delivery lifecycle.
• Conduct evaluations of requirements, enhancement requests, workflows, and system functionality.
• Support user acceptance testing and release readiness by validating delivered functionality against business expectations.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, Product Ownership, healthcare software, healthcare data, or related disciplines.
• Experience acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and software development teams.
• Experience gathering, documenting, analyzing, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and business rules.
• Experience supporting Agile delivery teams with backlog management, refinement, and planning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Travel up to 5% for internal team meetings, training, and planning; may include occasional travel to the United States.
