Senior Consultant - Quality Analyst (QA)

Overview

The Senior Consultant - QA role develops and oversees comprehensive testing activities, defect management, QA reporting, and integration testing for Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems.

What you'll do

• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring thorough coverage of requirements and business processes.
• Oversee test execution, manage test environments, and ensure adherence to test procedures.
• Manage defect reporting, tracking, and resolution with development teams.
• Collaborate with development, business analysts, and project managers to ensure alignment and successful testing.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, communicate test status and findings, and address issues or concerns.
• Lead and manage teams, delegate tasks effectively, and motivate team members.
• Own and drive defect management and QA progress reporting throughout the testing lifecycle, including identification, prioritisation, assignment, resolution, and closure of defects.
• Develop and maintain QA dashboards and KPI frameworks showing testing progress and application quality.
• Track and present daily and weekly QA metrics, including test cases planned, ready, executed, passed, failed, blocked, and pending, plus overall execution and pass percentages.
• Provide defect analytics by module, severity/priority, status, age, and business impact, identifying trends and areas requiring immediate attention.
• Conduct integration testing between B2B, OFS, CPQ, and upstream/downstream systems such as CRM and ERP.
• Perform test case analysis, execution, and reporting using Selenium (Java), Playwright, Postman, SoapUI, and TOSCA.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud products, Oracle Field Services, and architecture.
• Ability to conduct integration testing between B2B, OFS, CPQ, and upstream/downstream systems such as CRM and ERP.
• Knowledge of Selenium (Java), Playwright, Postman, SoapUI, and TOSCA for test case analysis, execution, and reporting.
