Senior Consultant – Semantic Data & AI Engineering

Overview

Senior Consultant – Semantic Data & AI Engineer to design and deliver semantic data solutions enabling AI/ML, analytics, and business applications.

What you'll do

• Design and build knowledge graphs, semantic layers, ontologies, taxonomies, and graph-based data products.
• Translate business concepts and documents into machine-readable semantic models.
• Develop and manage data pipelines to acquire, transform, map, validate, enrich, and load information.
• Integrate knowledge graphs with generative AI, RAG/GraphRAG, semantic search, machine learning, and intelligent-agent solutions.
• Support NLP/document-intelligence tasks such as entity extraction, entity linking, relationship extraction, classification, and knowledge extraction.
• Implement semantic data quality controls (e.g., SHACL validation, provenance, lineage, confidence scoring, version management) and run evaluations, PoCs, and production deployments.

What you'll need

• 4 to 6 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, AI, analytics, knowledge management, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with knowledge graphs and semantic technologies.
• Working knowledge of semantic standards including RDF, RDFS, OWL, SPARQL, SHACL, SKOS, JSON-LD, or Turtle.
• Experience with at least one graph platform such as Neo4j, Stardog, GraphDB, Amazon Neptune, or other listed options.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or another enterprise programming language.
• Experience building data pipelines, transformations, APIs, automated tests, or production integrations.
