Staff+ Software Engineer, GRC Platform

Overview

Build the GRC platform that aggregates compliance data and turns it into automated checks, dashboards, and evidence for real-time governance decisions.

What you'll do

• Design and build data pipelines that aggregate risk, control, and asset information.
• Create and maintain integrations to collect evidence from systems like cloud, identity, HRIS, ticketing, and CI/CD.
• Translate policies and regulatory requirements into policy-as-code for continuous monitoring.
• Develop agentic workflows using Claude for evidence collection, analysis, and control monitoring.
• Build dashboards and reporting for risk and compliance posture visibility.
• Make architectural decisions that shape platform growth and establish patterns for other engineers.
• Operate the platform services, owning reliability and data integrity.

What you'll need

• 8+ years building backend systems, data pipelines, or internal platforms other teams depend on.
• Systems thinking about data flow and integration points and how failures occur.
• Depth in integration engineering or data infrastructure (ELT/ETL and orchestration).
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Production experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code.
• High bar for data quality and reliability to automate ambiguous manual processes.
