Senior Contract Specialist

Overview

The Senior Site Contract Specialist manages preparation, negotiation, and finalization of Investigator Contracts for sites. Responsibilities cover risk analysis, compliance, coordination with internal teams, and may include mentoring junior staff.

What you'll do

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize agreements with study sites per local/accepted process.
• Negotiate within approved parameters for investigator grant budgets and contractual terms and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with negotiation parameters, authority approval, process, and client expectations.
• Identify and assess legal, financial, and operational risks and escalate per established processes.
• Coordinate internal functional departments to align site startup activities with contractual timelines.
• Achieve target cycle times for site activations and complete tracking/reporting as required.

What you'll need

• Comparable experience to 5+ years for the role.
• Detailed understanding of contract law principles, including business, intellectual property, and local tax/stamp laws.
• Effective communication skills in English and the local language.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate investigator grant budgets within negotiation parameters.
• Strong analytical and decision-based thinking with attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of PPD SOP & WPDs.
