Senior Site Contract Specialist

Overview

The Senior Site Contract Specialist manages preparation, negotiation, and finalization of investigator contracts. The role supports sites and internal teams and ensures contractual quality, risk analysis, and compliance.

What you'll do

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize agreements with study sites using local/accepted processes.
• Negotiate investigator grant budget terms and contractual terms and conditions within approved parameters.
• Own site contracts and budget negotiations for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
• Maintain compliance with negotiation parameters, approvals, contractual process, and client expectations.
• Identify and assess legal, financial, and operational risks and escalate per established processes.
• Coordinate internal functional departments to align site startup activities with contractual activities and timelines.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant academic/vocational qualification.
• 5+ years of comparable experience (or an equivalent combination of education/training and related experience).
• Detailed understanding of contract law principles, including areas influencing contract language.
• English and German communication skills at minimum C1 level.
• Ability to negotiate investigator grant budgets effectively within negotiation parameters.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical/risk-based decision making skills.
