Clinical Research Manager

Overview

Clinical Research Manager who line-manages trial monitoring staff (CRAs) and oversees country-level clinical operations, including study start-up and trial monitoring quality.

What you'll do

• Plan, assign, and direct work for trial monitoring staff in the given country.
• Assess staff performance and guide professional development for direct reports.
• Support study start-up and provide local expertise to start-up teams and project teams.
• Ensure clinical trial protocols are executed in line with ICH/GCP, local regulations, and SOPs.
• Review study start-up documents and contribute to site recruitment materials and tools.
• Collaborate with regional leaders to maintain study timelines and required quality standards.
• Conduct accompanied CRA visits and review reports, follow up on issue resolution, and communicate key risks.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a scientific, medical, or healthcare discipline.
• Minimum 5-7 years progressive experience in clinical operations in the biotech/pharmaceutical sector.
• Minimum 5-7 years progressive clinical operations experience, preferably including at least 2 years of line management in pharma or CRO.
• Fluent in German and English (writing and speaking).
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and strong organizational skills.
