Senior Contract Associate

Overview

The Senior Contract Associate drafts, negotiates, and finalizes complex clinical site contracts for clinical trials across the study lifecycle, with a focus on the German market.

What you'll do

• Prepare, negotiate, and finalize clinical trial agreements, ancillary agreements, and amendments for company-sponsored studies.
• Execute contracts to planned timelines and targets and manage contract budget grids.
• Perform records management and quality checks for approved contract and budget documents.
• Act as primary point of contact between CBO and Global Clinical Operations, Legal, investigator sites, and external service providers.
• Maintain contract timelines, track fully executed planned dates, and update internal trackers and CMS records.
• Liaise with Legal and other teams to review/update contract templates and coordinate investigator payment-related approvals.

What you'll need

• Hold a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of clinical research site contracting and budgeting experience with increasing responsibility.
• Have at least 4 years in clinical operations as an alternative to the 3+ years contracting/budgeting requirement.
• Demonstrate experience with Clinical Trial Agreements and budgeting with fair market value principles.
• Show knowledge of ICH-GCP, pharmaceutical regulations and laws.
• Have native-level written and verbal proficiency in German and strong English communication skills.
• Use Microsoft Office apps, CTMS, Contract Lifecycle Management System, Veeva, and Jira.

Details

• Location: Germany (Remote).
• Travel: 10%.
• Salary range (Germany): EUR 69,800.00 to EUR 87,200.00.
