Senior Data Analytics Engineer

Overview

Build and own analytics infrastructure, pipelines, tooling, and analysis across BigQuery and MariaDB. Translate complex data into actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain analytical pipelines and reporting solutions.
• Write performant SQL against large-scale datasets.
• Develop internal tools and automation with Python, FastAPI, and modern frameworks.
• Apply AI and machine learning capabilities to analytics workflows.
• Document data architecture, lineage, and information flows.
• Communicate findings and collaborate on data-driven process improvements.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of professional experience in data analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related field.
• Expert-level SQL skills.
• Strong Python and/or JavaScript skills for pipelines, tools, APIs, or automation.
• Deep understanding of data architecture, schemas, and data flows.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML, including LLMs, generative AI, or embeddings.
• Experience with AI-powered development tools such as Windsurf, Gemini, Claude, or Cursor.
• Public GitHub profile demonstrating relevant work.

Nice to have

• FastAPI experience.
• Business process design or operational analytics experience.
• Experience across multiple business departments.
• Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.

• Remote role based in India.
• Travel is required as needed and is described as minimal.
