Senior Data Engineer

Overview

Senior Data Engineer for JLL Technologies’ Enterprise Data team, an individual contributor role focused on designing and developing enterprise data solutions for commercial real estate.

What you'll do

• Contribute to designing information infrastructure and data management processes for a target data architecture.
• Develop systems to ingest, cleanse, normalize datasets and build pipelines from internal and external sources.
• Develop and operate modern data architecture approaches and deliver end-to-end data solutions.
• Design data management and data persistence solutions using relational and non-relational databases.
• Develop POCs to validate solution proposals with platform architects, product managers, and engineers.
• Functionally lead data engineers to deliver solutions in an Agile manner and mentor junior engineers.

What you'll need

• 6+ years overall work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a quantitative discipline.
• Minimum 6 years experience with Python, Databricks, Spark Streaming, Azure SQL Server, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Search.
• Extensive knowledge of AI tools like Claude and Databricks Assistant/Genie.
• Knowledge of advanced reusable/automated frameworks, AI-powered solution design, and AI agent development skills.
• Hands-on engineering lead capability with familiarity across cloud, microservices, streaming, networks, and security (AWS/ Azure preferred).
