Senior Data Engineer

Overview

Own the data foundation for Zinnov’s GCC Intelligence Platform by building reliable multi-tenant pipelines and KPI-ready datasets across Finance and Hiring. Enable downstream dashboards and AI agents to work on clean, reconciled, governed data.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain ingestion pipelines from source systems including Dynamics, Workday, Airtable, and SFTP feeds.
• Design and implement Medallion pipelines (Bronze → Silver → Gold) for Finance and Hiring data.
• Create reconciliation and gating logic so only validated data reaches Gold.
• Design multi-tenant PostgreSQL schemas with row-level security (RLS) for tenant isolation.
• Implement SCD2 patterns for historical tracking of hiring and finance records.
• Build cross-domain enrichment pipelines, including Finance + Hiring joins for cost-per-FTE KPIs.
• Build and maintain FastAPI endpoints consumed by UI and AI layers.

What you'll need

• 4+ years building production-grade data pipelines.
• Strong PostgreSQL skills including schema design, RLS, triggers, and window functions.
• Strong Python for pipelines, transformations, and APIs.
• Experience with orchestration tooling such as Prefect/Airflow or similar.
• Hands-on exposure to Medallion architecture and SCD2 in practice.
• Data governance mindset treating pipelines and Gold outputs as platform contracts.
