Senior Data Engineer

Overview

Build and operate SAP-to-Snowflake data engineering solutions, including ingestion, data modeling, governance, and production support for cross-functional analytics.

What you'll do

• Design SAP and cloud data ingestion into Snowflake.
• Build batch, incremental, and near-real-time pipelines.
• Develop dimensional and data vault data models.
• Implement data quality, reconciliation, and exception controls.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, reliability, and cost.
• Apply security, metadata, lineage, and governance practices.
• Document solutions and participate in production support rotations.

What you'll need

• 5–7 years of data engineering experience.
• Hands-on Snowflake development experience.
• Experience integrating SAP data into analytics platforms or warehouses.
• Advanced SQL and cloud data warehouse performance tuning skills.
• Experience with production pipelines using tools such as Informatica, ADF, dbt, or equivalent.
• Python or a comparable language for automation and data processing.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, code reviews, and deployment environments.

Nice to have

• Palantir Foundry and Ontology experience.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA data models and performance concepts.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
