Senior Data Engineer

Overview

Senior Data Engineer responsible for building and operating scalable data platforms, pipelines, and cloud-native services supporting ADAS and autonomous-driving solutions.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Build ETL/ELT frameworks for analytics-ready and ML-ready datasets.
• Develop data models, storage patterns, APIs, and data services.
• Implement data validation, lineage, metadata, and quality monitoring.
• Improve reliability through observability, testing, alerting, and recovery practices.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and containerized data workloads across AWS and/or Azure.
• Partner with AI/ML, MLOps, product, platform, and automotive-domain teams.

What you'll need

• 5–10 years of professional experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Advanced working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience operating production ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale datasets.
• Experience with distributed processing, cloud platforms, workflow orchestration, Git, testing, code review, and CI/CD.
• Understanding of data quality, schema evolution, performance tuning, observability, and failure recovery.

Nice to have

• Experience with streaming platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, serverless architectures, or infrastructure-as-code.
• Exposure to lakehouse, transformation, or table-format technologies.
• Experience with MLOps, ADAS, autonomous driving, automotive, IoT, telemetry, or sensor datasets.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical workstreams.
