Senior Data Engineer

Overview

Senior Data Engineer responsible for designing and developing cloud-based data and analytics platforms supporting IT service and asset management.

What you'll do

• Lead design and development of cloud-based data platforms.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines across Azure and Databricks.
• Implement data cleansing, normalization, aggregation, and other transformation processes.
• Build data models, schemas, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Integrate on-premises and cloud data using Azure Data Factory and related tools.
• Optimize, monitor, and troubleshoot data pipelines and queries.
• Build Power BI reports and document data engineering processes.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering and cloud platforms.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience with ETL tools and frameworks such as Apache Spark, Databricks Delta, or Azure Data Factory.
• Proficiency in PySpark, Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and relational databases.
• Experience with data governance, Power BI, cloud platforms, and DevOps or CI/CD tools.
