Senior Engineer, EDT Data & Analytics Cloud Engineering

Overview

Senior Cloud Platform Engineer responsible for the operational excellence, security, and reliability of an enterprise data and analytics platform on Azure. The role covers platform operations, DevOps automation, infrastructure as code, and data engineering operations.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines across development, testing, and production.
• Implement Terraform infrastructure as code for repeatable environment provisioning.
• Provision and maintain workspaces, compute, storage, networking, and access.
• Implement RBAC, access controls, secrets management, and identity integrations.
• Monitor services, troubleshoot issues, tune performance, and support incident response.
• Build and operationalize data pipelines, orchestration, and Databricks workloads.

What you'll need

• 2–5 years of experience in cloud engineering, data warehousing, or modern data and analytics platforms.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field or related discipline.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Key Vault, and Unity Catalog.
• Experience with Azure platform security, governance, and data service best practices.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Working knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with monitoring, performance tuning, incident management, and root-cause analysis.

Nice to have

• Azure or Databricks cloud engineering certifications.
