Senior Data Scientist, Computational Biology

Overview

The AIN-based Computational Biology Senior Data Scientist designs and advances advanced analytical and AI-driven frameworks to generate translational and reverse-translational insights from clinical trial data.

What you'll do

• Design and implement predictive and prognostic biomarker models using clinical trial and biomarker data.
• Develop multi-omic integration frameworks for joint analysis across genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, epigenomics, imaging, and clinical covariates.
• Apply statistical methods including longitudinal/mixed-effects models, survival analysis, missing-data and imputation, confounder adjustment, and interpretability.
• Build and evaluate machine learning, deep learning, and causal inference models for biological and clinical data.
• Contribute to AI-enabled analytical systems including foundation/large language-model approaches, generative models, and agentic AI systems.
• Ensure analytical methods are reproducible, scalable, and production-ready with platform and engineering teams.

What you'll need

• PhD degree OR a Master’s degree in specified quantitative disciplines.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in a quantitative discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a quantitative discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in an industry setting.
• Hands-on experience developing statistical or machine learning models for complex, multi-modal biomedical or clinical datasets.
• Experience with Python and R for scientific computing and modeling.
• Experience with modern ML/DL libraries and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, tidymodels).
