Senior Data Scientist

Overview

Senior Data Scientist role in Mastercard’s Product Data Analytics team, based in Gurgaon, India.

What you'll do

• Build end-to-end solutions blending data from multiple sources.
• Create actionable insights from siloed data to produce unified, trusted datasets.
• Develop and execute a data analytics & infrastructure strategy.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of data analytics projects.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align analytics initiatives to business objectives.
• Communicate complex analytics solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 6+ years experience in data science, data analytics, and business insights.
• Using Hadoop tools (Hive, Impala), Python/Spark, and SQL for big data products/platforms.
• 1+ years experience working on end-to-end Master Data Management solutions.
• Strong stakeholder interaction to understand technical needs and deliver analyses that meet them.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven team and individual contributor settings.
• Strong design-document skills including data models, data flow diagrams, and system architecture diagrams (preferred).
