Senior Design Engineer

Overview

Senior Design Engineer role focused on creating 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical components, assemblies and systems, and translating concepts into manufacturable designs.

What you'll do

• Create 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using AutoCAD Inventor.
• Use iLogic to automate the design workflow.
• Develop and maintain BOMs, drawings, and part lists in accordance with company standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality, procurement, and R&D to translate concepts into manufacturable designs.
• Perform tolerance analysis, material selection, and standard component integration.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety norms, and functional requirements.
• Maintain revision control and documentation of all design files and changes using PLM/PDM systems.
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation of mechanical systems.
• Address design issues or updates during manufacturing and field deployment.
• Ensure all designs meet cost, quality, and performance targets.
• Stay updated with latest features and best practices in AutoCAD Inventor and apply them to improve design efficiency.
