- Lead design and development of the global hardware engineering team.
- Engage hands-on with Software and Product leads on hardware architecture definition, including silicon selection and system power/thermal/mechanical decisions in line with target COGS.
- Drive multi-disciplinary functions across a broad view of hardware development: board and system design, power, SI, ECAD, mechanical/thermal, validation, compliance.
- Evaluate trade-offs in design for manufacturing, reliability, and quality.
- Provide visibility to executive leadership on performance, risks, and priorities.
- Advocate and drive career planning, compensation, and employee development across the hardware organization.
- Drive hiring and resourcing plans (headcount and budget).
