Senior Director, Solution Engineer

Overview

Senior Director, Solution Engineer—Portfolio Leader responsible for leading and growing a team of technical AI specialists deploying Agentforce solutions in complex customer environments.

What you'll do

• Direct a blended delivery team of Forward Deployed Engineers and Deployment Strategists.
• Set engineering standards and unblock complex customer deployments.
• Own capacity planning, talent acquisition, and staffing for cross-functional squads.
• Monitor delivery metrics, coach optimization, and handle complex customer escalations.
• Serve as the final technical escalation point for the portfolio.
• Partner with Product and Engineering on pilot programs and beta rollouts.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of direct people management or high-impact technical leadership.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise software implementation, data modeling, API integration, and AI deployments.
• Deep architectural understanding of AI, LLMs, and the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Direct, hands-on experience architecting or deploying Salesforce Data Cloud and the Agentforce platform.
• Strong executive-level communication and influence skills with global enterprise customer focus.
• “Ship-it” problem-solving mindset for actively shipping code.
