Senior Electrical Engineer

Overview

Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for electrical design, development, sustain engineering, and technical support for complex power generator packages and related products.

What you'll do

• Act as the electrical engineering subject matter expert for the manufacturing facility and wider group.
• Ensure electrical design and development comply with engineering practices, standards, and legislation.
• Standardize electrical engineering design processes across the product range.
• Lead, manage, develop, and coach a small team of electrical engineers.
• Engineer product electrical systems for efficiency, reliability, maintainability, flexibility, and lifetime costs.
• Develop existing products to improve operations and manufacturing and meet marketplace needs.
• Design test procedures and analyze results against product specifications.

What you'll need

• Electrical Engineering degree.
• 9+ years of experience resolving issues and optimizing commercial use of technologies and components.
• Experience in electrical design and development within a commercially demanding environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and design processes.
• Experience ensuring electrical designs make effective commercial use of available technologies and components.
