Electrical Engineer, Sr.

Overview

Design and develop electrical solutions for semiconductor equipment, including schematics, cable designs, harnesses, system interconnects and engineering documentation.

What you'll do

• Create electrical schematics and system interconnects from cross-disciplinary requirements.
• Design cables, draft cable layouts and create harness drawings.
• Own harnesses for power panels and power boxes.
• Release engineering drawings and bills of materials through engineering change management.
• Set up tool automation options and laboratory experimentation or testing equipment.
• Support field and build issue resolution.
• Interact with counterparts in the US and cross-disciplinary engineering teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience creating electrical schematics, control-panel facility connections and field disconnects.
• Thorough knowledge of E3 Zuken and Formboard Flattening (835).
• Knowledge of cable design, harness creation and component selection.
• Ability to create complete harness documentation artifacts.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting methods including 5-Why, 8D and fishbone analysis.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical presentations.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cable and harness manufacturing or wiring harnesses.
• Familiarity with cable routing.
• Semiconductor domain knowledge.
