Senior Engineer

Overview

Senior Engineer responsible for managing day-to-day shopfloor operations, workforce deployment, shift planning, and production performance. The role focuses on operational continuity, resource optimization, safety, quality, and productivity in manufacturing operations.

What you'll do

• Manage manpower deployment and shift planning against production schedules and available capacity.
• Drive actions to meet daily OEE, schedule attainment, productivity, scrap, and operational targets.
• Identify bottlenecks and develop recovery plans for production gaps.
• Lead containment, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for production and customer issues.
• Close internal and external audit observations and monitor corrective-action effectiveness.
• Drive training, skill mapping, and workforce deployment across assembly lines.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in labor, processes, consumables, and energy.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years of experience in production.
• Regular B.Tech or graduate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, JIT, FIFO, Toyota Production System, TPM, and 5S.
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools including 8D and rejection analysis.
• Knowledge of line balancing, manufacturing flow diagrams, work instructions, and assembly and testing machines.
• Knowledge of PLC-based error proofing, traceability, technical drawings, and relevant IATF and ISO requirements.
• Ability to handle a team of 2–4 supervisors and use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Location: Gurgaon, India.
• On-site residence in Gurgaon required.
• Work six days and shifts.
