Sr. Engineer- Perimeter Security | On-Site, Bangalore

Overview

Sr. Perimeter Security Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, administering, monitoring, and supporting enterprise perimeter security controls across on-premises, cloud, and remote-access environments.

What you'll do

• Administer enterprise firewalls including security policies, NAT, routing, VPN, application control, URL filtering, and threat prevention.
• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot secure web proxy and cloud-delivered security services.
• Plan, design, implement, and validate improvements, migrations, replacements, and standardization of perimeter security components.
• Perform troubleshooting using firewall/proxy logs, packet captures, flow analysis, threat logs, and monitoring tools.
• Investigate security events and indicators across internet ingress/egress, remote access, web traffic, and policy violations.
• Support security compliance and audit activities by producing evidence, remediating findings, and reporting adherence.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in perimeter security.
• Proven enterprise experience implementing and supporting Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama.
• Hands-on experience with an enterprise secure web proxy or Security Service Edge platform.
• Professional experience in information security, network security, consulting, managed services, or enterprise security operations.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex incidents and define corrective/preventive actions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
