Senior Engineer I, SASE Platform

Overview

Senior Engineer responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud and networking solutions, including control-plane and data-plane software.

What you'll do

• Drive cybersecurity features from design through deployment.
• Define system architecture and implementation strategies with Architecture and PLM teams.
• Coordinate feature transitions from implementation to production release.
• Guide and mentor team members during feature implementation.
• Address escalated customer issues with Systems Engineering teams.
• Oversee code reviews and development and staging environment testing.
• Optimize system scalability, performance, and release processes.

What you'll need

• 4–7 years of experience designing and developing large-scale cloud deployments.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with Kubernetes, virtual machines, Docker, and scalable cloud environments.
• Strong programming experience in Golang, Python, and Bash.
• Experience with REST and Open APIs, API authentication, and third-party integrations.
• Cybersecurity and networking experience covering tunnelling, DNS security, firewalls, IPS/IDS, DPI, routing, NAT/NPT, and IPv6.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools, automation tools, Wireshark, Git, Jira, and intelligent IDEs.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation testing tools.
• Understanding of web UI technologies.

Details

• On-site role in Bengaluru, India.
• Requires presence five days per week.
