Senior Engineer

Overview

Lead/Senior DevOps Engineer to raise the bar for DevOps practice and evolve it into a product-minded Platform Engineering capability.

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor a small team of DevOps engineers in IST with day-to-day guidance and structured growth plans.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to deliver platform-as-product with roadmaps, feedback loops, SLOs, and golden paths.
• Own cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) across GCP and some Azure.
• Design and standardize CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and facilitate migrations from TeamCity and Octopus Deploy.
• Establish and scale GitOps practices with Argo CD and drive progressive delivery and environment promotion.
• Improve observability using Grafana dashboards/alerts and operational reviews driven by SLO/error-budget thinking.
• Strengthen security posture across the SDLC, including secrets management and SAST/DAST reporting via SonarQube.

What you'll need

• 8+ years in DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering with hands-on delivery in cloud-native environments.
• Leadership experience mentoring/coaching across teams without formal authority.
• Strong communication across time zones with written and verbal clarity.
• Deep experience with GCP (preferred) and working knowledge of Azure.
• Strong grounding in Kubernetes, networking, IAM, and security fundamentals.
• Mastery of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and configuration management (Helm), plus strong Bash scripting.
• Fluency in CI/CD operations using GitLab, TeamCity, and Octopus, and artifact/dependency management via Artifactory.
