Senior Engineer Design

Overview

Senior Engineer Design role focused on owning and advancing STA flow and signoff methodologies for HOBTO and Bixby Creek platforms.

What you'll do

• Own and drive STA flow and signoff methodology for HOBTO and Bixby Creek platforms.
• Develop, qualify, and deploy scalable timing signoff methodologies.
• Automate flow validation and regression testing, including STA infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Physical Design, Design Signoff, and global R&D teams to deliver production-quality STA solutions.
• Improve flow efficiency, accuracy, and robustness through continuous methodology enhancements.
• Plan and execute regression testing for methodology updates and tool-version qualifications.

What you'll need

• Experience owning and driving STA methodology initiatives, including roadmap planning and issue resolution.
• Ability to develop and maintain STA flows for MMMC setup, setup/hold analysis, and OCV/AOCV/POCV implementation.
• Skill in implementing SI-aware and voltage-aware timing analysis methodologies.
• Hands-on automation experience using Tcl, Python, and Linux scripting for reusable STA infrastructure and regression frameworks.
• Experience analyzing QoR correlations and debugging timing discrepancies.
• Collaboration experience investigating tool issues with Cadence R&D, tracking JIRs, and validating fixes.
