Staff Design Engineer

Overview

Staff Design Engineer role supporting processor-based subsystem verification for Broadcom’s ASIC Products Division.

What you'll do

• Develop verification environments for processor-based subsystems.
• Perform functional verification and performance verification.
• Drive coverage closure activities.
• Run gate simulations, releases, and reviews.
• Participate in verification across typical ARM processor subsystems (e.g., A72/A55/A53, AMBA bus matrices, memory controllers).
• Work both individually and as part of a team, including cross-functional collaboration.

What you'll need

• B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electronics or VLSI Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in processor subsystem verification in directed and random verification.
• Experience with ARM processor-based subsystem verification using ARM assembly and C.
• Exposure to ARM processor architectures, bus interconnects, and AMBA protocols (CHI, AXI, AHB, APB).
• Skills in Verilog/SystemVerilog and UVM-based testbench and environment development.
• Programming skills in Perl and TCL scripting.
• Ability to develop block/subsystem verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM (must).
