Senior Engineer

Overview

Senior Engineer role focused on designing, developing, validating, and maintaining embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and utility programs.

What you'll do

• Design and develop embedded and cloud edge software.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements.
• Design and implement software modules.
• Code large features, perform unit testing, debug, and support integration.
• Conduct code reviews and regression tests.
• Triage and fix software issues.
• Write technical documentation and collaborate with project teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, a master's degree with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, a PhD in a related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Experience with database management software is preferred.
• Experience with APIs is preferred.
• Experience with Git, Perforce, or another source code management system is preferred.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years of database management software experience.
• 2+ years of API experience.
• 1+ year of experience with Git, Perforce, or another source code management system.
