Senior Engineer- Global Design

Overview

BIM Coordinator role supporting the development and management of accurate, data-rich digital models for Physical Security Systems within large-scale Data Center and Mission Critical facilities.

What you'll do

• Build detailed 3D models for Access Control, Video Surveillance and Intrusion Detection Systems, including the use of Point Cloud scans.
• Produce 2D construction drawings, layouts, and schedules directly from models.
• Identify and fix design conflicts with other trades using coordination tools such as Autodesk Navisworks.
• Follow the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and workflow rules.
• Revise digital assets as design changes happen through the project life.
• Share data clearly and coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Autodesk Revit (MEP), Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu.
• Experience using specialized security device add-ins such as Avigilon System Design Tool or Axis Camera Extension to simulate field-of-view (FoV) and blind spots in the 3D model.
• A good understanding of Security System Design.
• Ability to identify spatial conflicts between structural, architectural, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) services.
• Experience managing data drops, file revisions, and project setups via Common Data Environments (CDE) such as Autodesk Forma.
• Familiarity with COBie and IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) formats for data handover.
• Understanding of ISO 19650 international standards for information management over the lifecycle of a construction asset.
