Senior Engineer- HW PCBA ECAD

Overview

The Senior Engineer will develop hardware PCBA ECAD designs and support integration, verification, validation and qualification activities for test benches or associated hardware building blocks.

What you'll do

• Define PCB stack-ups, layer setups and PCB layouts.
• Design digital, analog and RF boards to design specifications.
• Apply DFM, DFA, DFT, thermal, mechanical and EMC design principles.
• Review design inputs and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Release Gerber files, bills of material and fabrication or assembly drawings.
• Support board industrialization and implement supplier feedback.
• Participate in PCBA integration and verification activities.

What you'll need

• 5–10 years of industry experience.
• A graduate or master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation or an equivalent engineering field.
• Experience with mixed-signal, analog, digital and RF board design.
• Hands-on experience with Cadence Allegro and OrCAD Capture CIS.
• Knowledge of PCB/CCA standards, manufacturing processes and design data packages.
• Experience with signal integrity, DFM, DFA and DFT concepts.
• Experience working across electronics, mechanical and systems engineering teams.

Nice to have

• RF domain knowledge.
• Experience with Keysight ADS or equivalent RF design tools.
• Knowledge of DO-160 and CE marking test standards.
