Senior Engineer - In process Quality

Overview

Senior Engineer responsible for quality assurance in assigned production operations, with a focus on product integrity, process improvement and zero-defect performance.

What you'll do

• Drive quality improvement efforts in assigned production areas.
• Support process improvement and problem-solving activities using statistical analysis.
• Support customer activities related to APQP, new product introduction, localization and continuous improvement.
• Optimize process capability for significant characteristics.
• Conduct product and process audits.
• Close internal and customer complaints through effective countermeasures.
• Manage change management and calibration processes.

What you'll need

• Provide expert analysis and guidance to production teams.
• Use problem-solving tools and techniques.
• Apply root cause analysis to recommend corrective actions.
• Use inspection equipment and techniques to provide decision-making data.
• Train shop-floor personnel in problem-solving.
• Demonstrate competence in ISO 50001:2011 requirements.
