Senior QE Engineer

Overview

Senior QE Engineer responsible for automation, performance testing, test strategy, and quality initiatives for scalable software systems in a CI/CD environment.

What you'll do

• Own performance testing with JMeter or similar tools.
• Identify system bottlenecks and collaborate on optimization.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or Rest Assured.
• Contribute to test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting.
• Ensure end-to-end coverage across UI, API, and backend systems.
• Identify root causes and provide performance tuning suggestions.
• Evaluate emerging testing tools and techniques.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of quality engineering experience focused on automation and performance testing.
• Knowledge of JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
• Experience with performance monitoring and profiling tools.
• Automation experience with Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, GUI, API, and browser compatibility testing.
• Understanding of software quality practices, shift-left testing, and test pyramid principles.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Big Data or AI/ML products.
• Understanding of OWASP, DAST, or SAST security testing concepts.
• Familiarity with Zephyr.
