Senior Engineer, Quality and Release Management

Overview

Senior Engineer supporting DevOps quality and release management. The role oversees secure, consistent, and efficient build, test, deployment, and release practices across development pipelines and environments.

What you'll do

• Define and enforce Git workflow, pull request, and merge standards.
• Manage vulnerability traceability and coordinate remediation with Development and Security teams.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, repositories, and development lab environments.
• Coordinate patching and related release activities with technical teams.
• Triage development lab incidents and track quality metrics and backlog items.
• Execute production releases using established change and deployment procedures.
• Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies and prioritize sprint deliverables.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps Quality, Release Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Expertise in Git workflows, branching strategies, pull request governance, and merge policies.
• Proficiency with Harness or Jenkins CI/CD platforms.
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory and security scanning tools including SonarQube, Checkmarx, and Corgea.
• Knowledge of change management, ITSM platforms such as Remedy and Jira, and enterprise patch management.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Linux, and Oracle Database concepts.
• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Hybrid position with at least two days per week at an assigned TU office.
• Location: Chennai.
