Senior Engineer Quality Assurance

Overview

Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System to ensure outgoing product complies with specifications and customer needs with minimum quality cost, and support quality for new product releases.

What you'll do

• Receive inspection of critical components against specification.
• Audit critical process control parameters and escalate deviation cases for CAPA in a timely manner.
• Define quality screening parameters, test methods and sampling plans at appropriate production stages.
• Monitor fallout at each screening station and initiate improvement actions to control it.
• Prepare and share quality KPI reports for MIS.
• Prepare and execute product performance and reliability test plans.
• Ensure compliance to specification and initiate CAPA in case of deviation.
• Lead, support and manage a team of technicians.
• Train people with new or additional skill sets.
• Review and revise quality check points, test methods and equipment.
• Coordinate to prepare and execute qualification plans.
• Act as gatekeeper for all new product release projects.
• Ensure product compliance with requirements and include new products in the certification list for UL/CCC/ISI certification.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1-4 years of experience working in Quality or Manufacturing function.
• Knowledge of quality system management such as ISO9001.
• Knowledge of measurement and engineering drawing interpretation.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good at planning and prioritizing activities.
• Interpersonal relations, teamwork and communication skills.
