Senior Engineer - Release Management

Overview

Senior Release Engineer responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end release management lifecycle for e-commerce and retail store software.

What you'll do

• Coordinate release planning and content alignment across multiple teams and systems.
• Manage release lifecycle activities including application updates, security improvements, and hardware upgrades.
• Own release risk management, issue resolution, and progress tracking to meet timing and quality goals.
• Contribute to transitioning from traditional releases to automated and AI-enabled release delivery.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to support Continuous Deployment and Continuous Delivery.
• Run release governance by participating in CAB and release planning meetings, maintaining a release repository, and managing release documentation.
• Mentor development squads to enable squad-led releases.

What you'll need

• 10+ years experience as a Release Engineer, project management, or release management.
• Demonstrated experience with Airtable, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle in Agile, Devops, and Lean Software environments.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
