Senior Engineer - RPA, VP

Overview

Senior Engineer (VP) to design, implement and administer RPA solutions, integrated with AI technologies, that automate securities and tax processing workflows for Deutsche Bank's DBIS business in Pune.

What you'll do

• Development, configuration and quality assurance of solutions to automate existing business processes and associated web forms within the Blue Prism RPA Framework.
• Implement proof of concepts for the involved operational departments.
• Maintain existing automation solutions.
• Implement in an agile environment.
• Analyse, design and develop system components along with the functional and development team.
• Implement and comply with bank policies (naming conventions, encryption, security settings, capacity, availability, and other non-functional requirements).
• Actively participate in the design of solution components, investigate re-use, and ensure solutions are fit for purpose, maintainable and successfully integrated, with clear, robust and well-tested deployments.
• Analyse new requirements and support business analysts in specifying them to drive reusability and consistency with industry best practices (scalability, availability, maintainability, flexibility).
• Analyse production issues and work to neutralise their impacts.

What you'll need

• B.Tech/BE or M.Tech/ME/MCA/M.Sc., preferably in Computer Science.
• A hands-on technologist with 10+ years of experience in the development, deployment in production and maintenance of RPA processes with Blue Prism.
• Confident handling of MS Office technology and web technologies.
• Foundational knowledge of traditional and generative AI technologies, as well as their practical application and integration.
• Initial knowledge in business process management, in particular process documentation, analysis and optimisation.
• Well-founded and verifiable programming knowledge in at least one object-oriented programming language.
• Strong analytical and design skills.
• Proficient communication skills (written/verbal).

Nice to have

• Microsoft environment programming experience (advantageous).
• Experience in investment banking/financial domain.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimise workflows, applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
