Senior Engineer - UK Highways

Overview

Senior Engineer responsible for UK highways design consulting, including roadway design, technical delivery, and project design management.

What you'll do

• Deliver end-to-end highway design tasks and projects.
• Prepare and finalize highway drawings for multiple project stages.
• Develop roadway corridor designs, detailed drawings, and construction support drawings.
• Calculate quantities and prepare design reports.
• Review existing condition reports and surveys.
• Manage technical aspects, quality, timeframes, finances, and health and safety objectives.
• Coach and mentor team members while leading design projects.

What you'll need

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a design consulting environment.
• B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering or M.Tech in Civil/Transportation.
• Strong understanding of DMRB and AASHTO codes.
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer.
• Experience using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal English communication, including technical report writing.
• Experience handling at least one overseas design project, preferably for the UK, US, Canada, EU, Middle East, or Australia.

Nice to have

• Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, InfraWorks, and Navisworks.
• People management and team-building skills.
