Senior Engineering Manager - AI & Python

Overview

Lead software engineering teams in developing high-impact, scalable AI solutions for financial markets and professionals. Drive technical strategy and development across the full software lifecycle, from architecture to deployment, while mentoring engineers and delivering high-quality code aligned with business goals.

What you'll do

• Hire and develop diverse and successful engineering teams that ship.
• Provide technical mentorship and support while letting your team make key decisions and learn from their mistakes.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Software Engineering teams to define roadmaps and deliver iteratively.
• Drive the technical strategy and development of high-impact, scalable AI solutions.
• Lead software engineering teams through the full software lifecycle, from architecture to deployment.
• Manage project timelines and deliver high-quality code that aligns with business goals.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 15+ years professional experience in engineering field.
• 10+ years shipping software, preferably over the full product development lifecycle.
• 6+ years leading software engineering teams.
• Extensive experience in software engineering with a focus on designing and implementing high-performance, scalable systems.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented programming using Python or Java.
• Expertise in cloud technologies, with emphasis on Azure and/or AWS, and deployment practices.
• Effective leadership and collaboration skills, with experience leading engineering teams and communicating technical requirements to both technical and non-technical team members.
• Working knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring.

Nice to have

• 10+ years shipping software, preferably over the full product development lifecycle.
