Senior Engineering Manager

Overview

Senior Engineering Manager for RingCX, leading the analytics roadmap and modernizing the analytics stack in Bangalore.

What you'll do

• Lead a team of software engineers for end-to-end product development.
• Drive analytics initiatives including KPI integrity and analytics ownership in India.
• Manage analytics delivery, ensuring quality and ownership of roadmap-prioritized projects.
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Data Engineering, and customer-facing teams on requirements and quarterly planning.
• Contribute hands-on via coding, code reviews, and architecture/design discussions while balancing management responsibilities.
• Handle team activities such as mentorship, performance management, 1:1s, and unblocking during daily/sprint cycles.
• Communicate project status, design, and technology updates with management and cross-functional teams.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3-5 years leading a full-function engineering team with more than 5 people.
• Hands-on Java experience designing and operating ETL pipelines with Airflow, Spark, Apache Beam, or AWS Glue.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data model design, and SQL.
• Working knowledge of analytical datastores such as ClickHouse, BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
• Experience deploying and operating analytics systems on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) at scale using Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience leading analytics/reporting platforms at scale, including ownership of data pipelines and KPI definitions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with production systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-volume, event-driven analytics using Kafka, Spark Streaming, or Flink.
• Familiarity with data quality, observability, and reconciliation practices.
