You will lead the systems engineering organization responsible for release reliability, validation platforms, long-running environments and AI-driven reliability workflows.
What you'll do
- Be accountable for the reliability decision behind every CDM release and make ship-or-hold decisions with release managers and component leaders.
- Set one roadmap for release workflows and fast build qualification, improving both quality and speed.
- Lead engineers building stress, scale, chaos and longevity infrastructure, simulators and long-running environments.
- Build self-service tools so component teams can validate their own work.
- Build a culture of transparency, innovation and security-first thinking in a fast-paced environment.
- Hire, coach and retain engineers across geographies.
- Set a clear operating rhythm including sprint planning, stand-ups and regular reviews.
- Keep the bar high, give direct feedback and hold the team accountable for delivery.
- Track certification cycle time, customer-found escapes, triage time and infrastructure cost, and act on them.
- Use and promote AI and emerging technologies, including AI-driven triage and automation, and measure the results.
- Align priorities with component leaders, product managers and program managers.
- Communicate with stakeholders at every level.
What you'll need

- 3+ years leading teams of software or systems engineers.

- Experience hiring and building top-tier teams, including teams spread across geographies.
- Experience building engineering practices, processes and operational rigor.
- A track record of communicating clearly and influencing across engineering, product and executive leadership.
